Our Story
A crêpe, a dream, and a city that believed
Dessert Avenue started in 2012 when Nadia Al-Hassan set up a small crêpe cart on Commerce Street with one pan, one recipe book, and a conviction that Dallas deserved world-class desserts without the world-class price tag.
Within a year the cart had a line around the block. By 2014 we opened our first brick-and-mortar on Main Street Downtown. Today, with two locations and a loyal community of thousands, we still fold every crêpe by hand — just as Nadia did on day one.
From hand-scooped artisan ice cream to single-origin espresso and fresh-baked cheesecakes, everything we serve reflects the same obsession: make something worth coming back for.
